Woods Rogers Vandeventer Black (WRVB) is excited to welcome summer associate Nicole Chaney to our Roanoke office. Earlier this month, we also welcomed three summer associates to our Norfolk office.

Nicole Chaney
Nicole is a rising 3L at Wake Forest School of Law. She is an Executive Editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy and a Project Coordinator for the Wills Project. Nicole is a member of the Pro Bono Honors Society, where she has logged over 140 hours of pro bono service.

In the summer of 2022, Nicole served as a judicial intern for the honorable Elizabeth K. Dillon in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia in Roanoke. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in politics and Spanish, where she spent a semester abroad in Valencia, Spain.

Our Summer Associate Program gives second-year law students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in different areas of the law while working under the guidance of some of the top attorneys in their fields.

The focus of the program is to provide meaningful work opportunities, out-of-office legal experiences, and opportunities to network and socialize while fostering growth and development. The success of our program is shown by the considerable number of our Summer Associates who return as Associates after graduating from law school. Learn more about our Summer Associate Program here.
