Monica’s practice is focused on government investigations and white collar criminal defense. She has experience representing defendants at all stages of criminal proceedings, including initial appearances, interviews and case evaluations, and appearances before district court judges and the Third and Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Monica received her J.D. from Widener University School of Law in 1999. She recently completed a clerkship for the Honorable James Jones of the Western District of Virginia. Prior to her clerkship she served as First Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Western District of Virginia, Roanoke Division.
