WRVB is pleased to welcome April Jones as an Associate in the Richmond office on the Administrative & Regulatory and Environmental practice teams. April focuses her practice on advising utility clients in complex regulatory proceedings and litigation before state utility commissions and primarily represents regulated utilities before the Virginia State Corporation Commission.
April obtained her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law, where she completed the Family Law Certificate Program. She was also the recipient of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated’s Endowment Scholarship and the Olender Foundation’s Earl H. Davis Advocacy Award. While in law school, April served as a Senior Staff Editor for the Howard Human & Civil Rights Law Review, a student attorney in the Criminal Justice Clinic, and the Vice President of the Black Law Students Association.
