Woods Rogers congratulates Patice Holland on her selection as a member of Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s first class of “Influential Women of Law.”

According to Virginia Lawyers Weekly, “This new awards program honors women attorneys and judges for their excellent work on behalf of their clients, their commitment to their communities and their service to the profession.”

“Patice puts thought into every action and has shown the highest level of integrity and character since joining the firm in 2007. Treating people with dignity and respect happens naturally with Patice,” said Woods Rogers Principal and Chairman of the Board, Victor Cardwell.

Ms. Holland is a partner at Woods Rogers PLC and is part of the Labor & Employment and Litigation practice groups. She is also the firm’s first African-American female partner. In addition to her work in general civil and commercial litigation, Patice is a frequent speaker on employment law at conferences across Virginia. Most recently, she was invited to lead a session on Implicit Bias at the 2018 Virginia Women’s Conference held in Roanoke, Va.
