Places of employment are potentially dangerous work environments, and while proper training, engineering controls, and administrative precautions can help to effectively manage risk, employee accidents can and do happen.

Do you have an emergency planning and preparedness plan that will keep business running in the event of a workplace accident or employee injury? How you communicate the news both internally and externally can be an integral part of the accident investigation.

This seminar will demonstrate how a plan and properly conducted accident investigation may provide solutions to many workplace hazards. Attendees will learn how to conduct the basic elements of an accident investigation from investigation strategy, to evidence gathering, critical decision points, and documentation. We will also discuss the legal issues involved when investigating an employee incident.
