Vandeventer Black attorney William E. (“Bill”) Franczek has been selected for inclusion to the CPR Panels of Distinguished Neutrals for the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution. Franczek will also be serving as an arbitrator and mediator for the Pro Bono Panel and Virginia at Large ADR Panel.

“I am honored to be part of a selected group of lawyers, former judges, and academics of this prestigious organization,” said Franczek.

CPR has taken the lead in encouraging high-quality ADR services. CPR’s Panels are regarded as one of the nation’s most distinguished source of neutrals for the resolution of business disputes. The Institute promotes awareness and use of its Panels and the CPR Dispute Resolution Services to encourage the best ADR practices.

Franczek is a partner with Vandeventer Black and is in the Firm’s Norfolk office. He was formerly a civil engineer working in construction, and his practice focuses on construction law, public contract law, and alternative dispute resolution.

Franczek is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s National and International Construction Panel for arbitrators and mediators as well as its Mega Project Panel List, from which he has served across the nation as a neutral in all types of construction disputes.  He is also a Fellow in the College of Commercial Arbitrators and the American College of Construction Lawyers.
