Elizabeth Guilbert Perrow, a Woods Rogers Principal, now leads the Litigation Practice. Elizabeth was unanimously elected as Head of Litigation by the assembled Litigation Principals, becoming the first woman named to this position in the firm’s history. She succeeds Mark Loftis, who led the practice for many years.
When announcing her election, Mark Loftis said, “Elizabeth is a talented and accomplished trial lawyer, and has been an important member of our Litigation practice since the day she joined the firm. She has earned this position and will be an outstanding leader for the Litigation Section.”
Elizabeth practices primarily in medical malpractice defense. She has tried numerous jury cases and lectured extensively on risk management issues. In addition, she was the second woman to serve as president of the Virginia Association of Defense Attorneys. Elizabeth also leads the Medical Malpractice Defense Practice and previously served on Woods Rogers’ Board of Directors.
Woods Rogers’ Litigation practice group represents businesses and individuals in civil and commercial matters. Chambers & Partners ranks the Litigation practice and recognizes some individual attorneys as some of Virginia’s leading litigators.
