Accounting Associate (Roanoke, VA)
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate should have:
- A college degree in Accounting and one to three years of relevant work experience (law firm experience a plus!);
- Proficiency is MS Office and Excel;
- High attention to detail;
- Ability to communicate clearly and effective with management, attorneys, and clients (both verbally & in writing);
- The ability to understand, learn, and adhere to best practices;
- The ability to analyze data, discern accurate results, and effectively communicate information to internal and external parties;
- A willingness to cross-train with other accounting team members’ on their primary functions and to provide coverage in these other functions when necessary;
- An ability and desire to work effectively in a team environment;
- Willingness to participate in special projects; and a
- Desire to learn new skills, be challenged, and grow with the Firm
