Accounting Associate (Roanoke, VA)

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate should have:
    • A college degree in Accounting and one to three years of relevant work experience (law firm experience a plus!);
    • Proficiency is MS Office and Excel;
    • High attention to detail;
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effective with management, attorneys, and clients (both verbally & in writing);
    • The ability to understand, learn, and adhere to best practices;
    • The ability to analyze data, discern accurate results, and effectively communicate information to internal and external parties;
    • A willingness to cross-train with other accounting team members’ on their primary functions and to provide coverage in these other functions when necessary;
    • An ability and desire to work effectively in a team environment;
    • Willingness to participate in special projects; and a
    • Desire to learn new skills, be challenged, and grow with the Firm
