Raymond is an attorney in the Medical Malpractice Defense, Litigation, and Health Law practice groups. He practices out of the Woods Rogers Vandeventer Black (WRVB) Roanoke office.

Raymond’s litigation practice focuses on medical malpractice defense and insurance defense. He counsels his clients through the full litigation process, from answering complaints to appearing in both Circuit and General District Courts.

Before joining WRVB, Raymond was an Assistant District Attorney in Asheville, North Carolina. His experience as a prosecutor allowed him to develop the flexibility and interpersonal skills needed to work in a high-stakes environment.

When Raymond moved to Virginia in 2018, he focused his practice on civil litigation, insurance defense, and nursing home and physician medical malpractice defense matters. That experience, plus the skills he gained as a prosecutor, allows him to advocate effectively for his clients.

Raymond graduated from Washington & Lee University School of Law. While there he was the Student Bar Association Vice President and a finalist in many Moot Court competitions.
