Peyton is an associate at Woods Rogers Vandeventer Black (WRVB) where she is a member of the firm’s Corporate and Business Transactions practice group. She joined the firm in 2022 after completing the firm’s summer associate program in 2021.
Peyton earned her J.D. from Regent University School of Law. At Regent, Peyton was a graduate assistant for the Academic Success Program and a pupilage member of the James Kent American Inn of Court. Peyton also served as chairwoman of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board and Director of Community Engagement for the Black Law Student Association. In recognition of her commitment to excellence and integrity by a selfless pursuit of public service and community involvement, Peyton received the Community Changer Award from the Regent University Faculty.
Prior to joining the firm, Peyton worked for NASA Langley Research Center as a Contract Specialist in the Mission Services Contract Department where she managed a diverse portfolio of contracts varying in fields, size, and complexity from research to occupational health.
Peyton is originally from Sacramento, California and moved to the Hampton Roads area to attend Hampton University where she received a B.S in Business management. In her free time, Peyton enjoys traveling with her family and friends.
